Messages may help to make you feel freer and have more mobility to your joints without that achiness and soreness feeling. At Heart, Mind and Soul we work with many clients with specific types of ailments including:

Parkinson’s - Many clients find that having a massage helps them to relax. We also target trigger points which helps to release tension within the body.

Amputees - Massage treatment may increase the blood flow to the amputation area, which may in turn help to improve circulation.

Stroke Patients - Massage therapy may help with rehabilitation after having a stroke. Massage treatments can help an individual client who has had a stroke by increasing serotonin levels, or alleviating depression and anxiety.

Depression and Anxiety - Massage can help to relieve physical symptoms which go hand in hand with depression. It may also help to relieve fatigue and sleeping problems.

PTSD - Massage therapy treatment may help improve circulation and release tension to promote relaxation. It also reduces the effect of the stress hormones, fatigue and may help to prompt a clearer mind set.

Fibromyalgia - Massage may help with relaxation to improve sleep. It also improves muscle toxins. When suffering with headaches, massage may give relief to tightness of muscles, especially when suffering with fibromyalgia.

Learning Difficulties - Massage may help support clients with learning difficulties. Suffering with stress and anxiety can be eased, as well as easing tight and achy muscles, and poor sleep. Massage should be considered as an important part of therapy with clients that have learning difficulties and are under a management programme.
